..... I found this spot with my daughter via social media (of course). I looked through all the reviews and " I STAND ON MY WORD" this Shrimp, Chicken LO MEIN is definitely underrated and deserves it flower! EVEN THE CHICKEN SOUP IS AMAZING! everything from the experience and the way the hostess takes your order with respect and knowledge is a vibe. I definitely had my fair share of horrible experiences with most Caribbean spots but this is definitely that 1 hidden gem! I Love this whole spot and will consistently pray for continuous success for them! P.s: This is the one y'all!!! Trust me you will not be disappointed!
Great little gem in Canarsie. The owner Morgan and his wife are very friendly and they give huge portions.
I normally don't like any food with any spice especially since I get acid reflux but OMG I was eating the fried rice with shrimp and broccoli like it was not spicy.It's not too spicy,but its just right.The shrimp lomein and pepper steak was superb.This is my new spot.My new craving.Im looking forward to trying other stuff on the menu.
The shrimp lomein is SO good. So addicting. The customer service is top tier. Everyone there is really nice and the cook is very cool and funny. The lomein is made to order so call ahead. It’s 15 i think but the plate is HUGE and filled to the brim so I shared with my 2 sisters and we were all full. Thank you!!
I visit the restaurant once, again and then again. The restaurant caters for my daughter's Baby shower, we move to long Island.......yet here we are . Moral to the story is don't tell your daughters about your 1 place of peace & solace! Now I'm forced to share my secret Food away (food & hideaway)! Ps: excuse the ribs I ate most of those while driving. Take my word for it "EVERYTHING" at the shack is A1!!!
Great customer service. The food is also delicious. I came here several times this week. I had shrimp lo mein, jerk chicken, curry chicken, & pepper steak. All the food is very flavorful, the spices are perfect. The home-made frozen drink is great also. This is my new go-to spot.
I really enjoyed the food here. I had the brown stew chicken and it was cooked to perfection! Gravy delicious and rice was n peas, chefs kiss. The lunch special is super affordable and filling. I devoured it so fast I forgot to take a photo. Please try this place out!
The staff was so nice!!! Food was delicious. Curry goat has such a rich sauce. The rice was tasty. Macaroni salad addictive. The BBQ ribs had a nice bite!
